Nice mint vintage 1970 Vintage Puma Skinner Knife with Stag handles. The control tag date stamp is 44074. This knife was made in the 4th quarter of 1970 at Puma Werks in Solingen, Germany.

The Puma model number is 11 6393. The knife is over 40 years old. This is a chance to own a great piece of Puma cutlery history. The blade is German stainless steel and the handles are stag with three brass rivets and a lanyard hole that is brass lined. This knife measures 9 1/2" overall with a 5 1/8" blade.

The front of this knife blade is etched: PUMA SKINNER - GENUINE PUMASTER STEEL - GERMANY BEST NO 6393. The knife includes the "Puma Proof Mark" on the blade: a small dot or ping on each blade was made with a diamond pointed needle, part of the Rockwell blade quality testing. It has a 5 1/8" German stainless steel blade and is 9 1/2" overall length.

The blade has a full and clear etch. The knife also comes with a genuine Puma leather sheath. This Puma knife was hand made in Solingen Germany in 1970. It is truly a popular Puma knife that was made to the the highest quality in Solingen Germany. The Puma green plaque is not included with the knife.
