Pattern # 6231 1/2 Heavy Jack knife, 3-3/4 closed. Brass liners with pinned oval CASE shield. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel. Both blades have strong snap with half stops, no wobble. Chestnut red bone handles with amazing color.The handles have no cracks or chips. A mint knife - never sharpened, carried, or cleaned, original blade finish and edges. One tiny carbon speck on one backspring. Included is a scarce vintage Case pumpkin box that originally held six of the 6318 Sh Sp SSP pattern.
Case used this style of box from the 1950s through the mid-1980s. Also included is an original Case wrapper with PROPER CARE OF YOUR CASE POCKET KNIFE instructions.
